Complexity and finesse are the characteristic features of this great cru
The iconic wine from Masseria Altemura. Its name alludes to the quest for proportion that is typical of Apulian art: between horizontal and vertical lines, between the volume of the Masseria (farmhouse) walls and the upward thrust of the Aragonese Tower. A sophisticated interpretation of Primitivo di Manduria, Altemura stems from a 5-hectare vineyard nestled within the estate and characterized by a soil rich in white limestone rocks. Complexity and finesse are the characteristic features of this superb cru which, sculpted by a crystal-clear light, captures Primitivo in its purest forms and shapes them into a sublimely-balanced body that is capable of evolving over time.
